Beautifully decorated antique hunting knife / dagger from India, with rich carving and a brass-mounted sheath – 32 cm
A particularly stylish and hand-crafted hunting knife with a total length of 32 cm. This knife is in a very beautiful, authentic condition and stands out for its exceptionally fine craftsmanship. Both the ergonomically shaped handle and the front of the sheath feature a deeply carved rosewood (Indian Rosewood or Sheesham), with continuous relief decoration of floral motifs, blooms and leaves.
The knife is equipped with a sturdy brass guard with decorative bulbous ends. The steel blade has a distinctive, gently curved cutting edge that blends into a sharp point, testifying to a functional and high-quality design.
The accompanying sheath is reinforced at the mouth and tip with solid brass fittings. At the rear there is a sturdy brass belt clip for traditional wear.
A beautiful collectible for enthusiasts of historical bladed weapons and traditional hunting culture. The lot will be carefully packaged and shipped worldwide with Track & trace.
