AKAI amplifier plus 2 bookshelf Sony speakers.
The Akai AM-2350 is a classic integrated amplifier from the late 70s.
It is highly appreciated by vintage fans for its iconic VU meters and warm analogue sound.
Main features:
Two analogue VU meters: Large and illuminated needles that indicate the output power, the visual essence of classic Hi-Fi.
Integrated phono stage: Includes a robust moving magnet (MM) preamplifier for connecting turntables directly.
Connectivity:
Supports two pairs of speakers (A, B or A+B), plus inputs for tuner, auxiliary and two tape cassettes.
Tone Controls:
Dedicated bass and treble controls with Loudness switch to enhance bass at low volumes.

The amplifier has some marks on its cabinet, please see the photos. There are small external rust marks on the lid. For an amplifier made in 1977 it will be in very good condition. All amplifier functions are working properly. Note that the volume has a brief clicking sound (it only appears briefly, near the 40 out of 100 position), which is due to requiring cleaning of the potentiometer. The sound is extremely clear, very typical of AKAI amplifiers from the golden age of Vintage equipment. The amplifier's power cable (EU socket type) is included.
This set comes with: 2 SONY speakers, models SS-SR700P, bookshelf size, 8 Ohms and 120Watts max power. The speakers has some marks on their cabinets.. Both speakers has new main driver replaced. They work perfectly. Cosmeticaly both has details. See pictures. Speaker connection cables are not included.
Consider the pair of speakers as a gift to the purchase of the amplifier, hence the low reserve price.
Note that these speakers have a maximum of 120 watts peak, but with the AKAI amplifier, if you set it to more than half, you'll probably blow them away.
