Vase - Earthenware - Revival Kangxi

Chinese ginger pot without lid in the form of a ginger jar.

Blue and white porcelain decorated with peony, rock, bird and foliage, with a trailing spray. One face is highly ornate, the other face almost empty with a small motif of three flowers.

Late 19th century revival, Kangxi–Guangxu period, 1880–1910.

Height approx 15–17 cm.

Mark under base: double blue circle.

Fine translucent glaze; under strong light visible in photo. Interior with small black dots and ancient crackle glaze evidence from old firing. Foot not enameled, darkened by time.

Good antique condition; no chips, slight enamel wear. No lid.
