Chinese porcelain lidded pot, decorated around with Imari-style Chinese decoration.

The body is painted with large stylized flowers, leaves and graceful tendrils. The decoration is executed in underglaze blue, combined with iron-red overglaze decoration. The pot has a bulbous shape with a short, upturned neck.

The accompanying lid is missing. Furthermore, there are signs of age and use, including wear and discoloration to the neck and decoration. Please view the photos carefully for a full view of the condition.

Chinese porseleinen dekselpot, rondom gedecoreerd in de Chinese Imari-stijl.

De buik is beschilderd met grote gestileerde bloemen, bladeren en sierlijke ranken. Het decor is uitgevoerd in onderglazuur blauw, gecombineerd met ijzerrode bovenglazuurdecoratie. De pot heeft een bolle vorm met een korte, opstaande hals.

Het bijbehorende deksel ontbreekt. Verder zijn ouderdoms- en gebruikssporen aanwezig, waaronder slijtage en verkleuring aan de hals en decoratie. Bekijk de foto’s zorgvuldig voor een volledig beeld van de conditie.
