Dino Aliberti (1935 - 2025) - Rural landscape with farmhouses and a small church

Description of the Work
Oil painting on paper by the well-known Turin painter Dino Aliberti (1935), a prominent exponent of the Italian landscape tradition of the late 20th century.
The work depicts a typical hilly rural scene. In the foreground stands out a cultivated field with vivid and vibrant tones (yellow and orange), enriched by tactile touches of red recalling the presence of wild poppies. At the center of the composition are characteristic farmhouses with red roofs, while the background is dominated by the profile of a pieve (rural parish church) or small church with a bell tower, immersed in vegetation and under a sky with blue-gr-gray hues.
The stroke is the author’s typical one: rapid, robust brushstrokes of a post-impressionist imprint, where light and color atmosphere prevail over photorealistic detail.
The work is signed clearly and contemporaneously by the artist in the lower right corner ("Dino Aliberti").
Photographic note: It should be noted that the color variations and the faded areas visible in some photos are due exclusively to light reflections on the surface of the protective glass; the painting film is uniform.

Biographical Notes on the Artist
Born in Turin in 1935, Dino Aliberti trained under the guidance of the renowned master Teonesto Deabate, placing himself in the great tradition of Sàbadian landscape painting. His artistic research focuses on the poetic rendering of the countryside and mountain views, interpreted with a strong sense of color and light.
His production was historicized in 1978 with the publication of the first volume of his General Catalogue edited by Galleria Pirra of Turin, with texts by the critic Angelo Mistrangelo.

Condition and Frame Clause
Painting: The painting film is intact and well protected by the original glass. There are light and natural undulations of the paper support, typical of the paper’s reaction to the absorption of the oil binder.
Back: Fully cleaned, free of writings or stamps. The painting is mounted on a grey pressed cardboard panel and firmly fastened to the frame with stable metal clips.
Frame and passe-partout: The wooden structure is solid and in generally good condition. Noted are widespread foxing spots (sprouting/mold due to time) on the passe-partout fabric, particularly visible in the upper left corner (see attached photos).
