Description from the seller
GENERAL:
Citroën GSA Pallas from 1982 displaying 167,737 km on the odometer. A stylish 44-year-old classic boasting a beautiful red body, a beige Pallas interior, and a sunroof that draws attention. This is a particularly visually sound example, with a bodywork that looks very good and an undercarriage with no visible structural rust in the photos. The car runs perfectly mechanically for its age, offering smooth driving and the exceptional comfort inherent to Citroën’s hydropneumatic suspension.
Historical interest note: Introduced in 1979 as the modern evolution of the GS, the Citroën GSA added a very practical rear hatch and a futuristic dashboard featuring the famous satellite controls “PRN,” allowing operation of equipment without taking hands off the wheel. The Pallas trim represented the top of the line, characterized by more luxurious equipment, enhanced sound insulation, and a more refined beige upholstery. With its flat-four air-cooled (boxer) engine and the legendary hydropneumatic suspension inherited from the DS, the GSA Pallas remains an icon of French automotive engineering, renowned for royal comfort.
BODYWORK AND PAINT:
The red bodywork presents very well overall, with a glossy paint and a handsome general appearance. The car seems sound and well preserved for its age; the sills, wheel arches, and visible underside areas show no obvious perforating rust in the photos. A few minor aesthetic defects related to its 44 years remain visible, such as light paint chips or small localized scratches near the wings and the headlights. These imperfections remain minor. No known accidents are to be reported. The black bumpers, grille, exterior trims, headlights and indicator lights are present and visually in good condition. The glass and rubber seals are consistent with the vehicle’s age. The sunroof is complete and adds a rare and stylish touch to this GSA Pallas.
MECHANICAL:
The vehicle runs perfectly from a mechanical standpoint, given its age. The engine starts properly, cold and hot, and runs normally. The gearbox operates correctly and the driving is smooth. The 167,737 km on the odometer constitute a reasonable mileage for a model of this era. The hydropneumatic suspension works perfectly: the car lifts, lowers, and maintains height correctly. The hydraulic system shows no known anomalies and provides the legendary driving comfort of Citroëns. Brakes, clutch, suspension, and the main mechanical elements function normally to the seller’s knowledge. The tires are mounted and visually appear usable. No significant leaks are visible beneath the chassis.
INTERIOR:
The cabin retains its original character and the refined ambiance typical of the Pallas finish. The dashboard, Citroën satellite controls, door panels, and trim are present and consistent with the vehicle’s age. The front seats and the rear bench are complete and retain their beige period upholstery. The upholstery shows wear and some localized tears, particularly on the front seats and the upper part of the rear bench, where partial refurbishment would enhance the overall presentation. The headliner and trim are worn but intact. The sunroof is a highly appreciated feature that reinforces the unique character of this interior. The essential functions are operational to the knowledge of the seller.
DOCUMENTS:
Information regarding administrative documentation and registration history is not detailed in the original text. It is recommended to inquire directly with the seller.
DELIVERY / COLLECTION:
The buyer may collect the vehicle on site, in Valla, Sweden.
OTHER INFORMATION:
Vehicle sold as-is. As with any collectible vehicle of this age, an on-site inspection is recommended to verify the operation of auxiliary equipment (radio, fan, gauges, and accessories).

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
