Pair of porcelain amphora vases – cobalt blue with hand-painted landscape, gilding & Sèvres-style mark.
Beautiful pair of monumental porcelain vases (amphora model) executed in deep cobalt blue, richly decorated with gold gilt accents and hand-painted classical landscapes.
The decorative porcelain vases stand on lion's-paw feet.
On both sides, hand-painted Italian/classical river landscape with figures, framed with gold embossing and floral relief.
Rendered in cobalt blue with gold and multi-colored painted scene.
The vases are enriched with graceful handles, gold accents and claw feet at the base.
At the underside, a blue crossed monogram with the letter 'S' (inspired by Sèvres / Samson porcelain).
Traditional multi-part construction.
The vases are 30.5 cm high, the oval collar is 26 cm wide and 11 cm deep.
The vases weigh 1550 grams each.
They are in very beautiful condition.
