Dial and Hands
The stunning silver pie-pan dial features a classic crosshair design, beautifully complemented by applied faceted indices with black inserts. An applied Omega logo and the signature Constellation star are present on the dial, which presents a remarkably clean surface with minimal signs of aging or spotting. The original matching dauphine hands also feature black inserts and a sweep center seconds hand. Under macro magnification, light dust or minor oxidation is visible on the handset, consistent with natural aging.

Case and Crystal
The well-preserved classic stainless steel case showcases both polished and brushed finishes, with lugs that retain good definition. The smooth polished bezel exhibits only light hairline scratches, while the case body shows light surface scratches consistent with careful wear. The caseback features a remarkably crisp observatory medallion with all eight stars clearly visible. The watch is fitted with a domed acrylic crystal that remains clear with no major scratches or cracks, and an original decagonal crown signed with the Omega logo, presenting defined edges.

Movement
The chronometer-certified automatic Caliber 551 features 24 jewels and is adjusted to five positions and temperature. The movement displays a clean appearance with no obvious corrosion or damage, and the copper-colored plating remains bright and intact. The rotor and bridges show their original finishing, along with clear Omega engravings. Performing well within expected vintage tolerances; running strong and steady.

Strap
The watch is paired with an attractive complementary black leather strap featuring white contrast stitching. It is secured by a stainless steel buckle signed with the Omega logo.

Excellent vintage condition. The dial is wonderfully preserved with minimal aging, while the case retains strong definition and a crisp caseback medallion. The watch exhibits light surface scratches and hairline marks consistent with careful wear, and minor oxidation on the hands is visible under magnification.
