Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Citroën DSpecial 2.0 litre from 1975 with Belgian registration, manual transmission, petrol, yellow, 100 hp and 66,797 km, overall condition fair with bodywork needing attention and the underside sound, interior fair and complete, sliding roof and likely Jaune Panama colour, CoC available on request.
Description from the seller
This nice and complete running Citroen DSpecial is from 1975, thus one of the last from the famous ID/DS series with a DY-type engine, i.e. a 2-liter.
It has deregistered Belgian registration, the interior is complete and neat, the floor is in good condition, and some bodywork parts need some attention; the structure is sound, chassis etc.
Particularly nice details are the distinctive color, probably Jaune Panama, and also the sliding sunroof.
Documents:
The car has deregistered Belgian papers, an older CarPass is available, as well as an older Belgian inspection report. The car has covered fewer than 1000 km since 2009. An original COC document can be supplied for an additional EUR 90.
Bodywork:
The yellow color of the car, combined with the nice black roof, suits it very well. In particular, the undersides of the doors need attention; nowadays there are kits available to glue the door bottoms instead of welding. It is a good alternative since the doors then do not need to be repainted. The fenders and the bonnet are in good condition. The underside is in good condition, see the photos.
Technical:
There is a good exhaust installed, and the battery is in good condition. Since the car has been driven only sporadically in recent years, a maintenance service is recommended; that is good for any used car, including this DS. The car starts, shifts, steers and brakes well. The radio has not been tested for operation; a new antenna is included.
Interior:
The interior is neat; the upholstery could use a few new covers, the door panels look like new, very nice. The headlining also looks fine.
PICKUP:
The car is located in Hengevelde, Netherlands and can of course be picked up here or delivered at an additional cost.
OTHER INFORMATION:
The car can be delivered across the entire European Union (possibly worldwide) at extra cost by a professional transporter.

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
