Plaubel Rapid Tele Peconar D.R.G.M. Medium format camera

A Plaubel Rapid Tele-Pecinar (III/3) telephoto lens with D.R.G.M. marking, made in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. This antique lens is crafted from a distinctive combination of brass and nickel/metal and is in very nice condition.

Condition report:
Cosmetic: In very fine and representative condition with minimal signs of aging. Beautiful for display in a display cabinet or as a collectible object.
Optical: The lens is beautifully clear and contains absolutely no fungus or haze. However, on the front lens at the outermost edge there are a few thin scratches. These are purely superficial.

Mechanical:
The diaphragm is completely clean and oil-free. The setting and focusing operate smoothly and as they should.
