Table Clock SWIZA 8 Day, Swiss-made brass mechanical alarm clock from the 1960s–1970s with an 8-day power reserve, calendar at 6 o'clock, in good condition and in working order.
Description from the seller
Vintage Table Clock SWIZA 8 – Swiss Mechanism, Calendar, 60s-70s
Description:
I am selling a vintage table / desk clock Swiza 8, a superb collector's item made in Switzerland (Swiss Made) during the Mid-Century Modern period (1960s–1970s).
The clock impresses with its elegant architectural design, with a heavy brass case and a smoked acrylic glass front panel, characteristic of the era.
Specifications and features:
Mechanism: High-quality mechanical, with a remarkable power reserve of 8 days when wound once (manual winding).
Functions: Time display, alarm (alarm clock) and date window (calendar) at 6 o'clock.
Aesthetics: Satin gold dial with applied black indexes. It has an authentic patina of time, with subtle signs of wear on the outer finish of the brass (the gilding on the lower frame), which confirms its age and originality.
Technical condition: The watch is functional (the mechanism starts and runs), but has not been tested over a long period of time for the accuracy of the seconds or for the history of revisions. All the original adjustment buttons are present on the back.
A special piece of decor for an elegant desk or an ideal gift for vintage Swiss watch enthusiasts
