Description from the seller
Blinds & Shutters is regarded as a cult classic and a milestone in the history of music books. This monumental publication is a tribute to photographer Michael Cooper, known for his iconic photographs of the rock scene in the 1960s and early 1970s and his close ties with The Beatles and The Rolling Stones.
The book contains an introduction by Terry Southern, forewords by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards and was assembled at the initiative of Bill Wyman, who personally signed every copy. The first British edition appeared in a limited edition of 5,000 copies, with each book also signed by a rotating selection of other people involved. The special edition, with a handmade silkscreen cassette equipped with a sliding panel that reveals a unique photo, makes this edition one of the most sought-after rock photography books ever.
Dimensions: 39 x 28 cm
Signed
Viewing is, of course, possible. In addition, we have our own in-house picture-framing workshop, which is celebrating its 85th anniversary year. Furthermore we make use of restorers from the trade association: 'Restauratoren Nederland'. If you would like to make use of this, of course we would be happy to hear.
