Description from the seller
Elegant vintage Mid-Century pair of carved wooden bookends, depicting two crouching antelopes/gazelles.
The figures feature a stylized design typical of Mid-Century taste, with slender forms, long horns, and a warm tonal color that enhances the natural grain of the wood. Ideal as a decorative complement for a bookshelf, study, or vintage decor.
The pair shows signs of age and some flaws, clearly documented in the photographs: one of the antelopes has the tip of a horn broken/missing, while the other has a crack in the head area near the horn attachment. Also present are slight surface marks compatible with age.
Dimensions of each bookend: approximately 24 cm in height, 20 cm in length, and 7 cm in depth.
The photographs show the conditions in detail and constitute an integral part of the description.
The cover photograph is a digital render for illustrative purposes.
They will be packed carefully and shipped with tracking.
