Description (Description):
Splendid and refined export porcelain display plate from Chinese porcelain, dating to the Qing Dynasty, Qianlong period (around 1736–1795), finely decorated in the Famille Rose style.
Subject and Painting: The central scene depicts a lively genre/figurative scene finely hand-painted with human figures, children and ladies in a traditional garden with a pavilion, rocks and landscape in the background. The painting is exceptionally detailed, fluid and rich in vibrant, bright colors.
Border and Decorations: The rim is embellished with elegant cartouche reserves with landscapes in monochrome sepia/iron and floral motifs, framed by a rich geometric decoration in magenta pink (diaper pattern).
Dimensions: Diameter about 25 cm.
Condition Report:
General condition: Good overall considering age (18th century), with vivid colors and the glaze’s brightness well preserved.
Visible defects: A hairline crack is present on the edge/border (see closely the detail photos and under UV light).
No invasive restoration visible. Please carefully view all attached detailed images, including those with a tailor’s tape measure and Wood lamp (UV), which are an integral part of the description.
