The example offered here has been restored with exceptional care. In the United States, the car underwent a full frame-off restoration conducted by Corvette specialist Greg Wyatt. The body was completely removed from the chassis and the car was reconstructed step by step, with both optical and technical condition raised to a high level.
After the restoration, the Corvette moved to Europe. Thereafter, the car continued to benefit from careful maintenance and further technical refinement. Between 2014 and 2017, according to the available documentation, more than €44,000 was invested in revisions and improvements to the drivetrain and various mechanical components.
Bodywork
The graceful lines of the first Corvette generation are superbly showcased on this example. The body presents itself well and shows that much attention was paid to detail and finish during the restoration. The characteristic styling of the early C1, with its smooth fenders and subtle chrome accents, still makes this Corvette instantly recognizable.
Paint
The Corvette is finished in a classic white scheme, beautifully contrasting with the red interior. According to the information available, the car was completely repainted during the restoration. The paintwork presents a lovely gloss and highlights the elegant shape of the body.
