【Description】

This is a Seiko Astron GPS Solar from the sporty line that combines Bright Titanium with ceramics. This example was produced in September 2013. Lightweight material is used for the case and bracelet, while the bezel and the center links of the bracelet carry ceramics in the same color, giving the watch a deep, composed black that metal alone cannot produce.

The dial is black. Rose gold-colored hour and minute hands, together with a 24-hour sub-dial framed in the same color, pair with the white indexes to draw the eye. The upper surface of the bezel carries the abbreviations of major cities, and the dial ring is marked with the time difference from UTC, organizing onto a single dial all the information needed to read the local time wherever you are.

Caliber 7X52 receives time information from GPS satellites and covers 39 time zones. In addition to manual time adjustment by button operation, it offers a perpetual calendar, dual time display, daylight saving time function, power reserve indicator, and an airplane mode that stops reception. A design that obtains the time from satellites even in regions where radio transmitter signals do not reach answers a way of using a watch that crosses borders.

Driven by solar power, it requires no manual winding and no battery replacement as long as it is regularly exposed to light. Sapphire glass is used for the crystal, a construction resistant to the scuffs that come with daily wear.

The bracelet is the original one, combining titanium with black ceramics. It sits well under a jacket cuff and can equally be worn with casual clothing — a highly practical watch.

【Condition】

The crystal is free of scratches and chips. The black dial, the hands and the indexes are in good condition. There are no chips on the ceramic bezel.

There are fine scratches from use on the case sides and the lugs. Numerous line scratches are present on the case back. The bracelet has small scratches, and the clasp has line scratches.

The watch has been exposed to light and confirmed to run. Manual time reception has also been confirmed. Whether reception succeeds depends on location, weather and satellite conditions.

The rechargeable battery of a solar watch is a consumable part. We have not measured or guaranteed its charge level or the duration on a full charge.

There are no accessories. Only the watch itself will be shipped.
