Description:
Impressive and magnificent Chinese blue-and-white porcelain vase dating to the Jiaqing period (1796–1820) of the Qing Dynasty.
The specimen stands out for its monumental size and its majestic, slender form, characterized by the wide flaring mouth, tall elegant neck, and a bulbous body that tapers toward the pronounced base.
Decoration and Style:
• Finely underglaze-painted in a delicate and vivid cobalt blue.
• Entirely decorated with a dense, continuous pattern of flowering tendrils and interlaced ramage.
• On the neck and body stand the large ideograms "Double Happiness", a classic auspicious symbol of good fortune and marital bliss.
• The base bears an apocryphal four-character mark in blue underglaze, a typical Qing-period convention to honor the refined porcelain of the Ming period.
• Fine, compact, heavy porcelain body, protected by a glossy, humidity-controlled display case.

• Rim: There are 3 small chips/nibbles along the rim of the mouth (three very small chips) and 1 hairline visible at the rim, well documented also via UV light photos.
