• Engine overhauled in 2021 and last service performed in May 2025
STORIA/PANORAMICA:
The Opel Kadett LS represents one of the most popular and successful variants of the famous German compact sedan from the 1960s, appreciated for its reliability and simple construction. This example, manufactured in 1969, was originally registered in Italy and has had only two owners in its history. The car, carefully stored in a garage, shows a mileage indicated by the instrument of 36,364 km.
CARROZZERIA/VERNICIATURA:
The bodywork is in excellent overall condition in white, rust-free, and repainted with care. The chrome trim remains intact. Note the presence of superficial rust only on the rims. The floors and underbody remain in good condition and free from corrosion. The tires are in good usable condition.
INTERNI:
The cabin is in good overall condition. The front seats have been replaced, while the rear bench is the original vinyl-leather material preserved in one piece. The headliner is original and in excellent condition. The controls, dashboard switches, cabin fans, instrumentation, indicators, lights, and the original radio are functional. The horn button is located on the left side of the steering wheel.
MECCANICA:
The car is equipped with a 1,078 cm³ four-cylinder engine paired to a four-speed manual transmission with reverse. The powerplant is in excellent condition, overhauled in 2021 and last serviced in May 2025. It starts reliably both cold (with choke/air used) and hot. The unit shows no visible oil leaks. Suspension, brakes, and belts are in good working condition.
DOCUMENTI:
The car is delivered with its Italian documents and is accompanied by the available maintenance documentation.
The vehicle can be viewed and picked up in Taranto, Italy, by appointment. It is advised to view the vehicle before making an offer. The seller is available to arrange transport within Italy or abroad (costs borne by the buyer) or alternatively to arrange self-pickup. Costs related to the transfer of ownership or outbound documentation are the buyer's responsibility.

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
