Chokwe Anthropomorphic Neckrest – Angola. This elegant antique neckrest constitutes a remarkable testimony to Chokwe classic sculpture. The kneeling female figure, dignifiedly supporting the curved crossbar, is treated with great sobriety, while the face with half-closed eyes and delicately carved features conveys calm and serenity.
