Description from the seller
For sale is a 1993 Saab 900 Turbo Cabriolet in the sought-after Full Pressure Turbo version. The car is equipped with a 2.0 turbocharged petrol engine producing 175 HP. Current mileage is approximately 228,000 km.
The car was imported from Germany to Poland in 2025. After the import, it underwent a wide program of renovation and service work, focusing primarily on the body, paint, convertible roof, interior preservation, and mechanical work. The car is currently registered and insured in Poland, roadworthy and ready to drive.
Body and paint
The body has been comprehensively restored and repainted after the car arrived in Poland. The work was carried out to address previous paint imperfections and the general need to refresh the car. The current paint has a deep gloss, and the car presents itself very attractively.
The bodywork condition is assessed as very good. The chassis looks solid, with no visible signs of rust, and the car’s structure remains in very good condition. No areas requiring urgent welding work are known.
One of the most important elements of the renovation is a completely new fabric roof. The roof was professionally sewn and installed from high-quality Sonnenland fabric. The roof mechanism operates smoothly and correctly.
Glass, lights, exterior components, and seals look good and are complete. The car is not a example kept in original paint, but a car after recently completed bodywork and paint, prepared for further use.
Technical condition
The car is equipped with a 2.0 Turbo engine in the Full Pressure Turbo version producing 175 HP. This is the most desirable variant of the classic Saab 900 Turbo Cabriolet, valued for its characteristic performance, strong torque, and very distinctive handling.
After import to Poland, the car underwent a wide range of service and refresh work. The engine starts immediately, runs correctly, and shows no worrying signs of wear. The car drives well and is ready for regular use.
The suspension and brakes function properly and do not require urgent intervention. The car is fully roadworthy, registered, and insured in Poland.
The only known mechanical imperfection is currently non-operational air conditioning. The air conditioning system was not reactivated after renovation work. All other essential car systems operate correctly.
Interior condition
The interior is preserved in very good condition. The leather upholstery has been professionally preserved, resulting in an attractive appearance that retains the characteristic Saab feel.
The seats, door panels, dashboard, and trim look good, with natural signs of use appropriate to the car’s age and mileage. The cabin retains Saab 900’s characteristic feel — ergonomic, solid, and very different from most of its contemporaries in the convertible market.
Electrical systems and equipment operate correctly, except for the mentioned air conditioning. The roof mechanism functions correctly.
Documentation

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
