We are putting up for auction a delightful and refined genre scene that revisits one of the most beloved themes in art history: "THE BATHERS". Immersed in a bucolic and vibrant landscape, the work depicts two female figures near a body of water. The composition is a clear and educated homage to late-Impressionist atmospheres, strongly recalling the grace and colorings of the classic period of Master Pierre Auguste Renoir.
The palette plays on warm and earthy tones for the landscape, which highlight the delicacy of the skin tones of the two women.
