【Description】

This is an Omega Genève, part of Omega’s dress watch line, designed with restrained decoration and a simple three-hand layout with a date display. With a case width of 35mm and a thickness of 10mm, it is easy to wear and slips neatly under a shirt cuff.

The dial is silver, with a sunray finish radiating outward from the centre, changing in brightness and appearance depending on the angle of the light. Applied baton indices and faceted hands stand out against the dial, and a date display is positioned at 3 o’clock.

Inside is the Cal. 1012, a high-beat automatic movement running at 28,800 vibrations per hour. Pulling the crown to the first position allows the date to be advanced quickly, while pulling it to the second position stops the seconds hand, allowing the time to be set accurately to the second. The movement can also be wound manually using the crown.

The case is made of stainless steel, and the case back is screw-down. The crystal is acrylic (Plexiglass), whose softer light transmission gives the watch the distinctive character of its era.

Based on the movement serial number “37235049,” the watch is considered to have been manufactured around 1973, allowing the approximate production period of this particular piece to be identified.

【Condition】

Although it is not noticeable at all, there is some dust inside the crystal near the 11 o’clock position.
There are numerous scratches from use on the case back.
There are also scratches from use on the clasp.

The dial is in good condition.
There is some minor dirt, but the hands and indices are also in good condition.
There are no noticeable dents on the front or sides of the case.
The bracelet is also in good condition.

Operation has been confirmed. There are no issues with crown operation or with the hour, minute, and seconds hands. Accuracy was checked with the watch laid flat for 24 hours, and no loss of time was observed.
The quick-set date and hacking function have also been confirmed to operate properly.

The bracelet has a small amount of stretch inherent to its construction.

There are no accessories. Only the watch itself will be shipped.
