Description from the seller
Here is a beautiful Space Age Philips turntable model from the 1970s, known in France as CURLING and in the Netherlands and Germany as POMPON.
AC operation: mains voltages 110 / 127 / 220 / 240 or 6x 1.5V LR14 batteries not included (it is currently set to 220/240V).
6-transistor electrophone + 3 diodes.
It can play 33, 45, 78 rpm records, with automatic stop at the end of the disc. The sapphire needle is in very good condition and it includes a 45 rpm adaptor.
The overall condition is excellent, very close to new, complete and fully serviced by a technician/collector, with replacement of defective components. It operates impeccably with remarkable sound and, in addition, what a Space Age design!
Dimensions: L 300 mm, H 120 mm, P 300 mm
Weight: 2.3 kg
It will be shipped by Chronopost or equivalent and will be superbly packed and insured (see my ratings).
(The last two photos show 1970s advertisements that are not part of the sale.)
You can also visit radioteppaz.fr, our little museum/site; there you will see some collectible devices that are not for sale but pleasant to look at.
