Description from the seller
The Philips FA567 (or 70FA567) is an integrated vintage stereo amplifier from around 1990. The unit dates from the period when Philips worked closely with Marantz. Many of these models were manufactured in Japan.
Main features and specifications
* Power: Delivers approximately 2 × 70 watts RMS per channel. This is powerful enough for most average-sized home speakers.
* Sound character: Audio enthusiasts on forums such as the Audiofreaks Forum describe the sound as detailed with a warm tonal character.
* Equalizer: Equipped with a built-in 5-band parametric graphic equalizer (slider controls) that allows you to manually adjust the tone.
* Direct Mode: Features a function that completely bypasses the equalizer for the cleanest possible, unprocessed audio signal.
* Connections: Supports Speaker A/B channels and various analog audio inputs, including Phono for turntables.
* Construction: Internally, the power amplifier stage uses discrete transistors rather than inexpensive all-in-one IC amplifier blocks. However, the driver stage does contain specific ICs (such as the μPC1270H), which can become quite hot during operation.
Unit has been tested and fully operational!
