In the middle, woven with white wool, are the two names: Çelik and Emine.
Celik is a man's name, meaning iron-strong.
Emine means faithful, loyal.
With a Tree of Life in the middle.
Natural plant-based dyes used.

Probably Turkish-speaking people from the Rhodope Mountains.
Often these people do not even speak Bulgarian.

This kilim, as an ethnographic folk-art object, is best displayed on the wall.
That was also often its original use.

Authentieke bruidskelim, gemaakt voor persoonlijk gebruik. 
In het midden zien we met witte wol geweven de twee namen: Çelik en Emine. 
Celik is een mannen naam, betekent ijzersterk. 
Emine betekent trouw, loyaal. 
Met een levensboom in het midden. 
Natuurlijke plantaardige verfstoffen gebruikt. 

Waarschijnlijk Turks-talige mensen uit het Rohdope gebergte. 
Vaak spreken deze mensen niet eens Bulgaars. 

Deze kelim komt als etnografisch-volkskunstig object het beste uit aan de muur. 
Dat was ook vaak het originele gebruik.
