Iconic Benjamin Ikea stool. The stool has been manufactured since the late 20th century. It is a design by Lisa Norinder. This stool is 45 cm high, 50 cm wide and 35 cm deep, weighing about 3 kg.
The stool is made of bent plywood (birch).
The stool still presents very well. There are some moisture stains visible on the top surface (see photos); otherwise there are no obvious signs of use, at most a few very light scratches and spots. The stool looks very good!
This Benjamin stool is still 100% stable and multifunctional, suitable as a stool, side table, or pedestal (see photos).
Lisa Norinder is today internationally known designer. She studied at design schools and in 1998 she received her Masters of Art in Furniture at the Royal College of Art. She designed, among others, for Habitat, Ikea and Palliser Furniture.
