Omega SA is a luxury Swiss watchmaker based in Bienne/Biel, Switzerland. Founded by Louis Brandt in La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1903, the company formerly operated as La Generale Watch Co. until incorporating the name Omega in 1903, becoming Louis Brandt et Frère-Omega Watch & Co. In 1984 the company officially changed its name to Omega SA and opened its museum to the public in Biel/Bienne.
The British Royal Flying Corps used Omega watches in 1917 for its combat units, followed by the United States Army in 1918 and NASA in 1969 for Apollo 11. Omega has officially served as the Olympic Timekeeper since 1932 and is currently the timekeeper of the America\'s Cup. Omega was one of the main partners of the 2022 Winter Olympics.
Omega experienced a rebirth with advertising that focused on product-placement strategies, as seen in the James Bond 007 films; the character had previously worn a Rolex Submariner but switched to the Omega Seamaster Diver 300M with GoldenEye (1995), and later to an Omega Planet Ocean and Aqua Terra.
At the heart of this watch is the Co-Axial escapement, a revolution in watchmaking when it was first introduced. The reduced stress on moving components implies less lubrication needs, longer-lasting accuracy, and a more stable power reserve. In short, this watch runs better for longer.

Excellent condition, never worn; the watch comes from a luxury watch shop display, so the strap has been replaced with a new one: the straps often suffer from temperature in display cases due to the powerful spotlights.
