Description from the seller
Welcome to my Top Swiss Chronographs Boutique!
Omega SA is a luxury Swiss watchmaker based in Bienne/Biel, Switzerland. Founded by Louis Brandt in La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1903, the company formerly operated as La Generale Watch Co. until incorporating the name Omega in 1903, becoming Louis Brandt et Frère-Omega Watch & Co. In 1984 the company officially changed its name to Omega SA and opened its museum to the public in Biel/Bienne.
The British Royal Flying Corps used Omega watches in 1917 for its combat units, followed by the United States Army in 1918 and NASA in 1969 for Apollo 11. Omega has officially served as the Olympic Timekeeper since 1932 and is currently the timekeeper of the America\'s Cup. Omega was one of the main partners of the 2022 Winter Olympics.
Omega experienced a rebirth with advertising that focused on product-placement strategies, as seen in the James Bond 007 films; the character had previously worn a Rolex Submariner but switched to the Omega Seamaster Diver 300M with GoldenEye (1995), and later to an Omega Planet Ocean and Aqua Terra.
At the heart of this watch is the Co-Axial escapement, a revolution in watchmaking when it was first introduced. The reduced stress on moving components implies less lubrication needs, longer-lasting accuracy, and a more stable power reserve. In short, this watch runs better for longer.
The Omega De Ville collection has attracted a wide and loyal following with its classic and elegant design.
These watches feature a pure, classic style, with luxurious finishes and radiate a timeless design.
Notable Omega wearers:
- Joe Biden, 46th President of the United States of America

Excellent condition, never worn; the watch comes from a luxury watch shop display, so the strap has been replaced with a new one: the straps often suffer from temperature in display cases due to the powerful spotlights.
I started taking photos with the old strap, but as I worked I decided to change the strap.
General pre-sale professional servicing performed in February 2026: the watch keeps good time and runs perfectly.
My personal authenticity and quality guarantee: you will receive the warranty card (as shown), fully filled out, stamped and signed.
Insured global shipping, tracked worldwide via DHL Express: not cheap, but fast and reliable, two days in Europe, three days worldwide.
What you see is what you get. These are my photos of the actual watch up for auction.
This rather rare model with a red and black dial is of particular interest to watch enthusiasts and Omega connoisseurs.
Bold red dial: very distinctive among De Ville models — visually striking and unusual.
Sub-dials: unique layout with black contrast sub-dials.
Exhibition case-back: transparent back showing the movement.
Stick/diamond-shaped hands and Alpha hands: elegant yet sporty aesthetic.
