An antique (circa 1900/1910) faience or ceramic tray with a chrome-plated metal frame and handles. Very atmospheric, with hand- or lithographically decorated motifs of flowers, grasses, and bramble branches (brambles/blackberries) with butterflies on an off-white background.
Popular in the Art Nouveau period of the last century. The producers of this type of tray (for example, Villeroy & Boch) do not always stamp the brand name, but the piece is stamped on the underside with the series/mold numbers.
