Cyril Keller - Krabbencocktail

My name is Cyril Keller. I was born on September 12, 1978 in Saarland.

My artistic journey began in the early 1990s when I discovered graffiti art for myself. From around 1993 to the end of the 1990s, graffiti was my great passion. During this time my enthusiasm for color, shapes and creative expression developed—laying the foundation for my painting today.

In 2015 I found my path to abstract art. A completely new creative world opened up for me, one that still fascinates me today. Since then I have pursued abstract painting with great passion and continually experiment with new techniques, color compositions and image structures.

I am especially fascinated by the unique forms and textures created by the squeegee technique. Each painting is for me a new journey of discovery, where intuition, creativity and a willingness to experiment come together.

As a self-taught artist I love continually developing and finding new ways to bring emotions and dynamism to the canvas.

Today I consciously take more time for my art than ever before and look to the future with great enthusiasm. My goal is to create works that touch people, spark their imagination, and bring them lasting joy.

For me, the beauty of abstract art lies in its openness. Every viewer discovers something of their own, brings their personal thoughts, feelings and experiences to a painting, and lets it affect them in a completely individual way. It is precisely this connection between artwork and viewer that makes abstract painting so special to me.
