Magnificent French-style bracket clock from the Charles X period / early Louis-Philippe, dating from the first half of the 19th century (around 1825-1840).
This elegant clock rests on a blackened wooden structure enhanced with fine marquetry inlays featuring scrolling motifs. It is supported by four twisted columns framing a white enamel dial with Roman numerals, surrounded by a rich gilt-bronze mount finely chased.
The original mechanical movement is complete and functional. The clock is accompanied by its decorative gilt-bronze pendulum, its winding key, and its striking bell.
This piece bears witness to the craftsmanship of 19th-century French workshops and constitutes a beautiful decorative item as well as an antique timepiece.

Nice overall preservation of the gilded bronzes.
Old cracks visible on certain parts of the wood.
Some losses and veneer flakes at the corners.
Wear consistent with age.
