Description from the seller
Omega Seamaster Chronograph Ref. 145.006 – 18K Yellow Gold – Calibre 321 – 1968 – Recently Serviced
Offered for auction is a beautiful and highly collectible Omega Seamaster Chronograph, Reference 145.006, dating from 1968 and executed in 18K yellow gold.
This is a particularly attractive configuration of the vintage Seamaster chronograph, combining a solid gold case with a matching gold-tone dial and the legendary Omega Calibre 321 manual-winding chronograph movement.
The watch features the characteristic late-1960s Seamaster chronograph design, with its substantial case, pump pushers and beautifully balanced three-register dial. The gold-tone dial is complemented by applied hour markers with dark inserts, a tachymeter scale around the outer edge and three recessed subsidiary dials.
At the heart of the watch is the celebrated Omega Calibre 321, a column-wheel-controlled manual-winding chronograph movement and one of the most historically significant movements ever produced by Omega. Calibre 321 is especially well known among collectors for its use in several important Omega chronographs of the period, including early Speedmaster models.

Calibre 321
One of the main attractions of this watch is its Omega Calibre 321.
This manually wound column-wheel chronograph movement has become one of Omega’s most celebrated historic calibres and is highly regarded by collectors for both its construction and its important place in the history of Omega chronographs.
Combined with the 18K yellow-gold case, the Calibre 321 makes this Ref. 145.006 a particularly interesting alternative to the more commonly encountered steel Omega chronographs of the same era.
Recent Service
The watch was serviced in early 2026 by Goudsmederij Pierre d’Es in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
This provides the next owner with the benefit of a recently serviced vintage mechanical chronograph.
Condition
The watch presents very attractively for its age and retains the unmistakable character of a late-1960s Omega chronograph.
As this is a vintage watch dating from 1968, signs of age and wear should be expected. Please study all photographs carefully, as they form an important and integral part of the description and provide the best representation of the watch’s cosmetic condition.
As with any vintage mechanical watch, no guarantee can be given regarding water resistance unless specifically tested. It is therefore recommended to avoid contact with water.
The watch will be carefully and securely packaged for shipment.
