This is a handwoven Kelim rug combined with knotting techniques, made from natural, sustainable materials. Imperfections in the patterns and the shape make this rug unique and emphasize the authentic and artisanal character.
Kelims are often made of high-quality wool on a cotton or wool warp (weft). The patterns are often geometric and angular in shape. Each nomadic tribe has its own distinctive motifs.
Kelims are used as rugs, tent covers, or as carpets and are excellent utility carpets with a long lifespan.
This is a nearly unused, clean rug that can be laid out as is.
Main color: Cream/sand.
Accent colors: Red and blues.
Special features: The weaving technique combined with knotting of this rug results in significant texture differences; rich abrash (intermediate natural color differences); beautiful sheen.
