Figural mantel clock - Antieke Empire pendule - Bronze - 1800-1850

This very fine, high-quality clock from the Empire period shows a young woman scattering flowers on a celestial globe carried by a cloud.

This bronze pendulum clock has a globe-shaped white enamel dial with finely worked hands. The oval base is adorned with festive instruments and accessories, as well as satyr masks.

This beautiful timepiece dates from the early 19th century and is of French origin, and is signed on the dial by the maker.

Dimensions: 32 x 27 x 11 cm deep.
