This piece fits fully into the panorama of Italian modern and Space Age furniture from the 1970s. Although most of these models are anonymously attributed or produced by artisanal manufacturers of the era, the aesthetics closely echo the sculptural style of prominent Italian designers such as Giotto Stoppino or Gastone Rinaldi, known for their innovative use of curved tubular metal.
The base is spider-like, formed by a central cluster of chrome steel elements that fan out in a radial pattern, both upward to support the crystal’s suction cups and downward to provide stability on the floor.
The transparent glass top highlights the geometric figures of the base, a typical choice to enhance the metallic component of the base.
The table is overall in good condition, except for a small chip on the edge of the glass top. The chrome needs polishing. An excellent furniture piece for lovers of this style and 70s design.

Questo pezzo si inserisce pienamente nel panorama dell'arredamento Italian modern e Space Age degli anni 70. Sebbenela maggior parte di questi modelli sia di attribuzione anonima o prodotta da manifatture artigianali dell'epoca, l'estetica riprende da vicino lo stile scultoreo di importanti designer italiani come Giotto Stoppino o Gastone Rinaldi, noti per l'uso innovativo del tubolare metallico curvato.
La basev e' definita a ragno, formata da un fascio centrale di tasselli centrali in acciaio cromato che si aprono a raggiera sia verso l'alto per sostenere le ventose del cristallo, sia verso il basso per garantire stabilita' a terra.
Il piano in vetro trasparente mette in risalto le figure geometriche della base, una scelta tipica per valorizzare la componente metallica della base.
Il tavolo si presenta nel complesso in buone condizioni, fatta eccezione per una piccola scheggiatura sul bordo del piano in vetro. La cromatura necessita di una lucidata. Ottimo prodotto d'arredo per gli amanti del genere e del design anni 70
