Description from the seller
Refined Richard Ginori porcelain dinner service, expression of the elegant and measured taste of Italian Art Déco. The service stands out for the purity of its shapes and for the delicate balance between geometric rigor and decorative richness, characteristics that made the production of the historic Doccia manufacture famous in the period between the 1920s and 1930s.
The porcelain, with a snowy white base, is embellished by an elegant perimetral band consisting of a geometric motif in shades of blue, interspersed with small sprigs of pink roses, finished with a fine edge in pure gold that lends brightness and value to the whole. The contrast between the linear design of the Greek key and the delicacy of the floral elements creates a refined and timeless decoration, perfectly in line with the déco taste.
The service counts 23 pieces and consists of:
6 flat plates
6 bread/antipasto plates
6 antipasto plates
1 tureen
1 sauce boat
1 serving dish
1 round tray
1 oval tray
Good overall condition, gold slightly worn on some plates. The lid of the tureen and one plate show more evident defects as shown in the photograph.
