Lot of 2 antique pharmacy mortars with bronze and solid brass pestles - Late 19th / Early 20th century

Splendid collectible lot consisting of two antique pharmaceutical/herbal mortars, complete with their respective contemporaneous and original pestles.

1. Professional flared mortar (Bronze / Satin-bronze brass)
Form: inverted bell-shaped frustum, no handles, with a low center of gravity designed to ensure maximum stability during percussion.
Height 7 cm
External top diameter 10 cm.
Pestle length: 15 cm.
Total weight: 1.060 kg (Including the pestle coordinated to cylindrical nodes).
An exceptionally solid and well-constructed piece, with walls of very thick thickness, typical of professional herbal laboratories.
Splendid natural dark brown coloration, dense and intact, testifying to the object's historical character.

2. Mortar with squared handles (Brass gold-colored)
Slender cylindrical profile with flared base and two characteristic square-shaped, punched side handles.
