【Description】

This is an OMEGA De Ville dress watch. The case and bezel are finished with 20-micron gold plating, combined with a stainless steel case back. The lugs are short and upswept, and together with the rounded case sides they give the watch the quiet presence of an early-1970s dress watch.

The dial is champagne gold with a vertical sunray finish, so its expression changes with the direction of the light. Applied bar indexes and slim hands are matched in the same tone, leaving the layout free of unnecessary elements. The display consists of hour and minute hands only, with no seconds hand and no date window. This restraint expresses the character of the De Ville very well.

Inside is the automatic Calibre 711 with 24 jewels. It is one of the slimmer automatic movements in Omega's line-up, and the case measures 6.7mm in thickness. Hand winding is possible with the crown pushed in at its basic position, and pulling the crown out one step allows the time to be set. The tip of the crown is set with a black cabochon stone, giving an accent befitting a dress watch.

The bracelet is an original Omega two-tone metal bracelet combining gold plate and stainless steel. Its structure of small, closely set links sits comfortably on the wrist, and the clasp carries the Omega logo. Together with the modest 36mm case width, it fits easily under a shirt cuff.

It goes well with a suit or a jacket, suitable for formal occasions and equally at home as an accent for everyday wear.

【Condition】

The front and sides of the case show scuffs from use. Similar scuffs are found on the bezel. The case back has several fine scratches. The bracelet and clasp also show scuffs from use. All of these are marks of age and use, and they are light in degree considering the year of manufacture.

The crystal is clean and free of scratches. The dial is also in good condition. The hands and indexes show no corrosion or chipping.

The watch has been confirmed to run. Hand winding, time setting, and automatic winding all function correctly. Operation was checked over 24 hours lying flat, and no significant loss of time was observed.

There are no accessories. The watch will be shipped as the watch itself only.
