Carl Zeiss S-Planar 120 mm f/5.6 T*, Hasselblad V mount
Magnificent Carl Zeiss S-Planar 120 mm f/5.6 T* for the Hasselblad V system, recognized as one of the best lenses ever produced by Zeiss for this system. It is particularly sought after for portraiture and close-up photography. Its remarkable close focusing capability, its exceptional optical quality, its contrast and the rendering of detail make it one of the most appreciated lenses in the Hasselblad V system.
The lens is in very good overall condition, with only normal signs of use, mainly a few marks on the front ring, visible in the photographs.
It has just come out of a specialized workshop where it was fully tested. The technician performed a complete internal cleaning of the optical elements, checked the proper operation of the lens, and inspected the shutter speeds, aperture, and focus. The lens is completely free of fungus and functions perfectly.
Only localized wear to the anti-reflective coating on the front element, age-related, reported with no impact on the lens’s operation. This wear has never affected the images taken with this lens. See the photographs to assess the overall condition of the lens.
The focusing ring is smooth and precise throughout its travel. Shutter speeds are regular and the aperture works perfectly.
