European school (XX) - Le Violoniste Devant La Mer

This Modern Painting The Violinist in front of the Sea, created around 1930 by a Northern School, draws us into a naturalist scene.
In a natural environment with trees, lawn and sea, the canvas balances on the left, slightly lower near the village and its church, and finishes on the right up high, with a car.
The focal point is given centrally by the group of elongated-bodied figures. Each has a well-defined place and individually enlivens this moment of rest, contemplation, and ode to music.
