Junghans Ventnor walnut veneer pendulum clock with a 14-day spring movement, half-hour gong strike, in excellent working order; dimensions 34 × 23 × 13 cm and weight 5 kg, winding key included, made in Germany circa 1910–1920.

Junghans walnut pendulum clock - with marquetry - Ventnor model (see 1912 catalog).
Rare model in this condition.
14-day spring-driven movement - Ref. 151 - Stamped A10 (first half of 1910) - Striking on a GONG (half-hour).
The movement has been serviced and works perfectly. Sold with its key.
It is perfectly regulated, the escapement has been upgraded - timekeeping accuracy: +2 seconds/day.
The clock has a magnificent patina. The exterior elements and the case have been cleaned - The marquetries have been carefully restored with traditional wipe-on varnish (satin finish). No major defects to report.
The dial has a very nice patina, with slight micro-fissures (hairlines) present on the enamel dial - The glass is original and has two scratches - not polished - with no unattractive oxidation stains.
This type of clock fits perfectly with its era and shines for the sobriety of its ornaments.
