Zeiss Movikon 8B / 5532 Analogue camera

For sale is a classic Zeiss Ikon Movikon 8B 8mm film camera from the 1950s, including the original brown leather ready-case with distinctive red velvet lining.

This mechanical 8mm camera is distinguished by its exceptional horizontal design and the high-quality German craftsmanship of the postwar era. It is equipped with a permanently installed, bright Carl Zeiss Tessar 1:1.9 f=10mm lens.
Condition and operation:
Mechanics: The camera is functional. The mechanical mainspring (clockwork) winds smoothly, and the shutter release starts the mechanism without issue. The various speeds engage audibly.
Test note: The functional test was conducted mechanically without loaded film (dry test).
Optical condition: As befits its age, in a very nice, well-maintained condition with minimal, authentic signs of use on the housing (see detailed photos). The lenses and the viewfinder look clear.
Accessories: The original leather case closes well and protects the camera optimally. The red velvet interior is in excellent condition.
