AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Elegant plantation-style colonial chaise longue
Spectacular chaise longue with ergonomic, sinuous lines, faithfully inspired by the classic designs of East Indies plantations. This is a piece with great presence and high artisanal quality, ideal for upscale interior design projects, colonial, transitional, or globally styled environments.
Materials: A sturdy frame crafted from noble solid wood with excellent grain and density. Seat and backrest upholstered entirely in thick saddle leather in a toasted brown tone, fixed perimetrically with aged-brass tacks and finished with hand-braided leather stitching.
Dimensions: 190 cm (length) x 64 cm (width) x 50 cm (height).
Estimated weight: 30–50 kg.
Period: Second half of the 20th century.
Condition: Good overall condition with the expected signs of age and use. The wood and frame are firm and solid. The leather shows a beautiful natural patina and organic aging. The only defect to note is a small superficial crescent-shaped tear at the top of the headrest (see close-up photos in the gallery), which does not affect the upholstery’s structural firmness or its use. The wood shows no worming or signs of weakness.
An exclusive piece that combines ergonomic comfort, the warmth of noble materials, and a timeless exotic aesthetic.
