Antique large anvil, 20 kg, forged steel/iron, European classic double-horn model dating from 1950–1960, in good used condition with minor signs of wear and age patina; dimensions 45 cm high, 15 cm wide, 10 cm deep.
Description from the seller
Ancient anvil weighing 20 kg in high-forge steel/iron, European classic double-horn model (one conical and one pyramidal), ideal for forging, knifemaking, and blacksmithing or as a splendid object of industrial decor/collecting—ideal for collectors, enthusiasts, bladesmiths, or blacksmiths. The piece is original from the period, hand-forged, and structurally intact. Excellent hammer rebound and a ringing sound, a sign of high build quality, far from modern imitations. Surface with the original patina of the era. Perfect both as a ready-to-use working tool and as an element of industrial antiquarianism or vintage decor.
Trademark: Present original circular logo with a triangle stamped on the side (visible in the photo). Structure: Equipped with a square hole (hardie hole) and a round hole (pritchel hole) on the top plate for cutting tools and drilling. Arch-shaped feet provide very stable support. Conditions: Structurally sound, with no cracks or welds. Shows the classic patina of time and normal signs of wear on the edges of the plate due to historical use, which do not compromise its solidity.
