Martell Chanteloup XXO Cognac, 70 cl, 40% ABV, a single bottle from France bottled in 2024, factory-sealed with its original presentation box and information booklet.
Description from the seller
Description:
An outstanding bottle from Maison Martell, the oldest of the great Cognac houses, founded in 1715. This Chanteloup XXO is offered factory-sealed and unopened, complete with its original luxury presentation box and information booklet.
Martell Chanteloup XXO is a masterclass in the art of blending. It brings together up to 450 very old eaux-de-vie drawn from the four most prestigious Cognac crus — Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Borderies and Fins Bois. The youngest eau-de-vie in the blend is aged a minimum of 14 years, while the oldest components reach up to 70 years, offering exceptional richness and complexity. It belongs to the recent "XXO" (Extra Extra Old) category, a designation only introduced in 2018.
Named after the historic Château de Chanteloup, the spiritual home of Maison Martell, this expression is the work of Cellar Master Christophe Valtaud, heir to nine generations of savoir-faire.
The decanter itself is a work of art: an elegant curved silhouette adorned with wrought-iron-inspired silver motifs, a polished metal cuff engraved with the Martell crest, and a gold collar. A true centrepiece for any discerning collection.
Tasting profile (producer notes):
Colour: rich amber with shimmering highlights
Nose: honey, vine peach and apricot, with fig, almond and walnut
Palate: intensely fruity, full-bodied, balanced and elegant, with a remarkably long finish
Presentation:
Factory sealed, never opened
Original grey presentation box included (with sliding mechanism and printed tasting notes)
Booklet / information card included
The bottle has been stored upright in good conditions, away from direct light. It will be carefully packed and shipped with full protection.
