Tray - Two "Paris 1900 Exposition" visiting card trays - Brass

Two beautiful and rare antique visiting card trays, made in 1900 in France for the Exposition Universelle in Paris. Each tray has a classical, octagonal shape with borders and finely formed handles. The bottom of the tray is engraved with an initial and "Exposition Paris 1900". Very interesting souvenirs of the iconoc exhibition.

Overall good condition with wear and imperfections consistent with age; one is missing a handle. They were possibly once silver-plated.
