Natural rattan chair, made in France, in good vintage condition with natural patina and age-related signs of wear.
Description from the seller
Very beautiful vintage chair in natural rattan, probably dating from the 1960s-1970s, with a design that is particularly elegant and decorative.
This chair is distinguished by its large rounded backrest in the shape of a fan, composed of thin rattan canes arranged vertically and delicately ligatured by hand.
Its slender and airy silhouette is typical of rattan furniture that experienced a real boom in European interiors during the 1960s and 1970s.
The openwork seat is entirely made of rattan, as is the frame.
The numerous traditional ligatures, the curved elements and the crossed crossbars under the seat testify to a beautiful artisan craftsmanship.
The rattan has a superb honey to warm brown patina, naturally acquired with time and that gives a lot of character to the piece.
This chair integrates perfectly into Mid-Century Modern, bohemian or vintage decor, but also in a veranda, a conservatory or a Mediterranean-style interior.
It is kept in good vintage condition overall. Some traces of use, small marks and patina variations are present in keeping with its age and are visible in the photographs.
Dimensions:
Height: 100 cm
Width: 42 cm
Depth: 46 cm
Estimated period: 1960-1975
Style: Mid-Century Modern / Bohemian
Material: natural rattan

Condition: good vintage condition with natural patina and signs of use related to age.
A very pretty decorative piece in rattan, full of charm and character, ideal for bringing a warm and authentic touch to an interior.
Small flaw, see photo but nothing troublesome, stunning chair
