Carlo Nason - Murano - Wall lamp - Model Contessa

This majestic wall lamp was designed in the 1980s by Carlo Nason for Murano Due, with the fitting model name ‘Contessa’, which in Italian means ‘countess’. The design stands out for its organic, chalice-like form. The lamp is made of hand-blown Murano glass according to the incamiciato technique and consists of double-layered glass. The interior consists of soft white opal glass and the exterior of lightly satinized glass in an amber color, which provides a pleasant diffused light. Attached to the lamp is a cord with a switch, but the lamp can also be connected directly to a power outlet. A beautiful lighting object that is offered rarely and therefore a real asset for lovers of exceptional design lighting.
