Description from the seller
Set of three traditional copper-red pans with indentations (alveoles) dating from the late 19th century or early 20th century. These utensils, typical of French folk art, were historically used for the individual cooking of eggs in the mirror or for snails.
Each piece features a long flat forged-iron handle, securely fixed by copper rivets, ending with a hanging ring perfect for wall display. The set offers slightly graduated sizes, providing a very beautiful aesthetic effect for a kitchen decoration in the chic country style ("French Country").
Conservation state:
Authentic objects sold "as is" with a superb patina of time. Presence of natural oxidation traces (verdigris) and remnants of old cleaning products that attest to their age and past use. The structures are solid, the handles are firm and without play. The inner tinning is period (to be restored if intended for culinary use, ideal as is for decoration).
Approximate dimensions (per piece):
* Total length (including handle): about 35 to 42 cm
* Diameter of the copper part: about 16 to 20 cm
* Total weight of the set: about 1.5 - 2 kg
