The 1930s stand for character, mechanics and a distinctive design language. It is exactly this era that is embodied by this rare Wagner Art Déco Tonneau Dress Watch from Pforzheim, created around 1935–1940 – in the pre-WWII era.

The distinctive tonneau case, the typical Art Déco numerals, the railroad minute track and the small seconds at 6 o'clock give it its authentic late 1930s character.
