An exquisite example of horological creativity from Maurice Lacroix’s prestigious flagship line: the Masterpiece Day-Date (Reference MP 6328). This timepiece is highly celebrated for its distinctive, architectural dial layout and mechanically innovative display complications.
The Dial & Complications
The watch features a deep gloss black dial with a striking multi-tiered layout that immediately commands attention:
The Day Display: Arcing across the outer upper and lower perimeters of the dial, the days of the week are indicated via a dedicated central hand with a skeletonized pointer tip.
The Date Display: An inner tracking ring features a traditional pointer date complication, indicated by a prominent white arrow-tipped central hand.
Aesthetics: Polished Arabic numerals at 12 and 6 o'clock are balanced by bold, stylized hour markers and luminous syringe-style main hands, providing incredible depth and readability.
Case & Movement
Housed in a beautifully contoured 40mm stainless steel case, the watch features the signature Masterpiece stepped bezel and a classic onion crown. The exhibition case back reveals a beautifully finished Swiss automatic movement, complete with a signed Maurice Lacroix rotor, perlage, and Geneva striping.
The watch comes mounted on its original black alligator-style leather strap (20mm lug width) paired with the original, branded stainless steel deployant clasp.
